Reverend Karyn Dix
Pastor
Pastor Karyn joined our staff in June 2021. She also serves as an "On Call Chaplain" at the hospital. After working in Child Development for twenty years she felt called to Ministry. She attended George Fox University where she earned her M.Div. and certification as a Spiritual Director.
Karyn believes that being a Christian means living as the hands and feet of Christ in the community around us. She is always looking for new ways to volunteer in the community.
Joy Holmes
Administrative Assistant
Joy Holmes joined our staff in July 2024 and comes with a background in customer service and office assisting. She graduated in 2023 from BMCC with an associates degree in administrative professional sciences. Joy has lived in Pendleton since 2018 with her daughter, Amy, and their two cats, Scotty and Bailey.
Todd Hall
Custodian
Todd joined our staff in April of 2013. He was born and raised in Pendleton. Todd served 6 years in the US Marine Corps.
He can be found working hard around the church weekdays from 8:30-12:30
James Davis
Treasurer
My name is James Davis, and I am excited to be the new treasurer at First Christian Church. I look forward to helping the church reach the goals that you are looking for.
I live in Pendleton with my spouse Chelsey and our three children, Madison, Caylin and Jax. Our family owns and operates a small business in the downtown area, Studio 84 Salon & Barbershop. I stepped away from my career in management a few years ago to help raise our newborn son Jax. During this time, I decided to continue my education at BMCC, and I just graduated in March 2024.
